The Beatles Dressed in Bright Shakespearean Clothing

I daresay the ruffs and tights look rather nice on them, don’t you think?

Nope, they weren’t sent back in time – this photo was taken during their 1964 TV special Around the Beatles , where their opening act was a humorous rendition of Act V, Scene I of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
