Well-dressed photographers in action with their beautiful cameras and taking photos during the 1962 Cannes Film Festival

Scenes like this where photographers are always on the go with their cameras during the Cannes Film Festival probably haven't changed much--except that there are probably more cameras equipped with zoom lenses!

Whenever there’s a snap-worthy event happening, photographers will surely be there flocking and clicking away. Having said that, there’s probably nothing special with the photo above taken by Paul Schutzer — except if you’re someone who’s into all things retro, and maybe even hints of photography history!

Just look at all the beautiful film cameras held by these photographers well-dressed for the Cannes Film Festival five decades ago. Also, take note of the different ways they held, cradled, and focused their cameras!

Now, we can’t help but wonder who or what they managed to capture on film?
