Stop Motion Sunday: A Different Kind of City Life

Our Stop Motion Sunday offering for today features another amazing work of art that combines good ol' sketching and smooth animation. See if this is something that can inspire you to make your own animated sketches for the ongoing Analogue Life Video contest!

In case you’ve forgotten or haven’t heard yet, the Analogue Life Video Contest that Lomography tied up with the recently concluded Film Photography Day is still ongoing, and you still have a lot of time to make and submit your own brilliant video showing the joys of living the analogue life!

A few days ago, we suggested that you put your sketching skills (or your friend’s) or other analogue art-making skills on spotlight with a cool timelapse video of an artwork in the making. Now, we’re once again hinting at using your drawing skills — and combining them with stop motion animation to tell your own analogue life story!

Need some inspiration? The video below shows a plain-looking character living a different kind of city life, thanks to the creative and resourceful hand that helps him get past some obstacles along the way!

How do you make your life a little bit more analogue with each day’s passing? Aside from these Analogue Day Activities we’ve been sharing, why don’t you inspire your fellow lomographers as we inch closer to the worldwide Film Photography Day celebrations and share with us your own stories? Remember, you can also schedule your own meet-ups for the big event, show your analogue life through an awesome video, and profess your love for all things analogue with some of your best snaps!
