Newcomer of the Week: Joyshieh

Her Lomographs are reminiscent of fun and sunny days. Like a cold refreshment that cools your busy yet exciting day!

Coming from Taiwan, this Lomographer was just recently bit by the film photography bug. We kinda had a hard time interviewing her because of the language barrier but all turned well thanks to a few translating skills and a passionate love for the analogue life!

Read more about this week’s newcomer and enjoy her lovely gallery of Lomographs!

How did you find out about the Community and who/what convinced you to join?

I found it through Facebook! I joined because I wanted to share myself through photos.

Any inspirations when it comes to taking film photographs?

My inspiration is the fact that I do not want to miss any wonderful moments.

As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?

I think every rule. They are applicable in our daily lives!

In this digital age, why still film?

To shoot in film is very unique and always off the beat and unexpected!

What is the Lomographic camera you’d want to have someday?

Your favorite section or page in our Lomography site?

The Magazine section as well the Selected Photos.

Share your current favoriteLomograph (could be yours or a friend’s) and explain why it is your favorite.

I like ccwu work. Each of his photos came from great imagination.
