Analogue Life Video Tip: Make a Timelapse Video of Someone Making Analogue Art!

Still looking for that bright idea for a clip or video to submit to the Analogue Life Video Contest? Maybe you can ask the help of your amazing artsy friend to show the world how the analogue way never fails to fascinate!

In case you’ve forgotten or haven’t heard yet, the Analogue Life Video Contest that Lomography tied up with the upcoming Film Photography Day is still ongoing, and you still have a lot of time to make and submit your own brilliant video showing the joys of living the analogue life!

Since Lomography is looking for something crazy, mind-blowing, and inspiring, one thing you can do is to showcase someone’s (you or a friend) rad analogue art skills by making a timelapse video!

Remember Patrick Vale, the guy who drew the lower half of New York City entirely by hand as he saw it from the Empire State Building? Yes, you read it right! It might have taken him several days to finish the whole drawing, but in the timelapse video below, you can watch the artist at work as he completes segment by segment of the drawing.

So, if you also have some impressive drawing or analogue art making skills (or have a friend who does), maybe you could give this tip a try!

How do you make your life a little bit more analogue with each day’s passing? Aside from these Analogue Day Activities we’ve been sharing, why don’t you inspire your fellow lomographers as we inch closer to the worldwide Film Photography Day celebrations and share with us your own stories? Remember, you can also schedule your own meet-ups for the big event, show your analogue life through an awesome video, and profess your love for all things analogue with some of your best snaps!
