When my family and I went to Taiwan earlier this month, we did not expect to see much cherry blossoms around, considering the fact that their season was almost over. However, when we went up the mountains to Maokong 貓空 and Jin Gua Shi 金瓜石, we were pleasantly surprised with the breathtaking view.

The view up Maokong was amazing, and the cherry blossoms bloomed with happiness. With a slightly cloudy sky that day, it was a little more challenging to capture the flowers. But with good film and an anticipating heart, shots of these flowers were just taken non-stop.

Up at Jin Gua Shi, the trees were moved up to the park where visitors could take pictures close up with the cherry blossoms. Even though some might feel the transportation of trees made it unnatural, i feel that this is the best way for humans and plants to interact in a good way.

Also, not forgetting the flowers in Taipei itself!
