Need some ideas to help you make an awesome analogue -themed video you can submit to the Analogue ? We come to your rescue with an epic Rube Goldberg Machine music video!
Been wanting to send over something nice for the Analogue Life Video Contest but are stuck in a rut about what to film? We suggested building a Rube Goldberg machine—one that could show the full analogue photography process would be great, but we know it might not be easy.
But, what if that tickles your fancy and you still want to take on that challenge? Well, to give you an idea about how Rube Goldberg Machines work, we come to your rescue with this amazing music video of OK Go’s This Too Shall Pass:
As you can see, the whole “mechanism” runs on chain reactions caused by just one “push.” Not to mention that the process of foraging materials and setting up the whole mechanism is totally analogue! Now, maybe a Rube Goldberg machine photobooth is something you want to try making and filming, yes? Doesn’t have to involve an epic and elaborate setup as the one made for the OK Go music video above, but make sure it pushes the shutter and takes a nice photobooth snap!
Go and make something that starts with this something like this…
and ends with something like this!
