Analogue Day Activity: Keep a journal with photos for a month.

Today marks the start of our countdown to Lomography's very own Film Photography Day! To get you in the mood and into the habit of living a more analogue life in general, we prepared a list of daily activities for you to try. For today, we encourage you to start keeping a journal.

Everybody likes keeping journals and those who have stopped doing so always yearn to start another one. There’s something about writing things and thoughts down on paper, and working with notebooks and sketch pads, that feel more rewarding.

Whether you want to resume journaling or want to pick up a new hobby, now may be the best time for you to get started. One of the approaches you can try is the usual diary format to keep for a month. If you start today, you can do it to document your daily pursuits towards a more analogue lifestyle, all the way until Analogue Day itself!

Fill it with prints of your lomographs, daily memento like bus tickets, receipts, and candy wrappers, doodle on the pages, write your musings, and note down random thoughts and observations. Later, you can move on to more challenging ones like mini scrapbooks, photo journals, collaged pages, and many more!

Here are some lovely journal photos from the Community to inspire you:
