Just being able to spend a few months in our Community, this guy from Indonesia sure oriented himself well.
To knowing his 10 Golden Rules, to familiarizing himself to the members of the Community, and to even planning his future with analogue, it is pretty impressive, indeed! It’s time to meet this week’s newcomer, mojo_lomo.
Name: Andri Tri Atmojo
Lomography Home: mojo_lomo
Location: Bandar Lampung, Indonesia
Current film cameras: Holga 135 BC, Fisheye no. 2, SuperSampler, Smena 8M
How did you find out about the Community and who/what convinced you to join?
I’ve known Lomography through a TV program. At that time I saw an interview about Lomonesia (Lomography Community in Indonesia) with teguharyo as its informant. I still remember, when I saw those amazing photos with wondeful colors, how time have seemed to slow down. I’m really amazed with Lomographic cameras. From that, I started to walk through the world of Lomography.
Any inspirations when it comes to taking film photographs?
I’m inspired by many Lomographers in this Community like adi_totp and lakandula who loves shooting amazing doubles and gendis who is the master of shooting hot model portraits. Every Lomographer is an inspration for me because everyday there are just so many new amazing photos!
Any song or movie you live by? Please share.
I love classic rock! Bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Deep Purple, and movies like Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, Ben-Hur and others! Classic Rock never dies just like analogue photography and Lomography!
As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?
“Don’t Think Just Shoot” of course! Because the work of art was born freely to be enjoyed and not to overthink.
In this digital age, why still film?
Back to my previous answer, it is fair to say that the works of art were born naturally and freely through a complicated process and not instantly like digital photography.
What are you looking forward to in our Community?
Share the LomoLove with all Lomographers in the world. World peace through Lomography!
Your favorite analogue camera as of the moment? Why?
Of course it’s obviously the Smena because it was my first camera and the best camera for me.
What is the Lomographic camera you’d want to have someday?
I want the LC-A+. I hope this year I could get my own.
Your favorite section or page in our Lomography site?
I like the Tipster section because there are so many new things to learn and there I’ve found so many interesting things. I have to try one of those great Tipsters!
Share your current favorite Lomograph. Why?
Because this photo seems so cool to me. The atmosphere is vibrant and different.
