For someone like me who was born in the 1990s, I never thought that I will come into contact with film and Lubitel 166+. They are really filled with irresistible charms!
The first time I set my eyes on it, I was deeply attracted by its
“retro” look. I was still thinking that I won’t be joining the community as film photography is expensive! And my limited capabilities will not put the “vintage camera” to good use.
Who knew that less than a month later, I realized that Lomography Hong Kong had a promotion, and I bought my first film camera without hesitation. At the same time, I began my Analogue Lifestyle! Kudos to the excellent lens of the Lubitel 166++, it is really sharp and can satisfy someone who usually shoots with an SLR.
My photos from my first roll of 120 film:
For my second roll of 120 film I tried Redscale film. After this trial, I realized that it is not easy to handle this film! I have to keep trying!
The last roll was shot in Victoria Park and I used Lomography Color Negative 400 120 film. I love the excellent results!
I believe that “waiting” is a necessary process for film photography, and the joy after the wait is really indescribable!
