Lomography

Having been living in the same city, occupied by limitless plans, I decided to get myself some free air. Sometimes, life gets exciting when you start a trip out of randomness, with a camera loaded with some unfamiliar film.

It was a boring holiday, I wished nothing but escape the companion of the computer. All of a sudden, my friend appeared in my mind. The next second, I grabbed my LC-Wide, loaded with my favorite emulsions, then went out and headed to the train station to meet him.

This city which I am not familiar with have some resemblance with the village from where I came from. It maybe because of the convenient store at the end of the street, or maybe the presence of the soda shop, optical shop, bank, premises, that sweep across the street. While waiting for my friend, I spent my time walking on the street. Nothing had caught my interest, until when I saw a small and cute antique shop. This kind of shop never fails to add an adorableness to where it belongs.

The atmosphere of a city has always been contrasted by the antiquated and uniqueness of these buildings. And then, I knew this city has its own history and culture.

Look at this small and quaint Zhui Fen Train Station. It has been standing at this very spot ever since it was built. It was surprising that there are no bridges to cross over between stations, which allows you to cross between them on the railway. The train ticket was thick and coarse, like the touch of a human’s skin.

After the film was developed, my friend was shocked with the results of the photos, he has never imagined how pretty was the city he’s been living in. Or maybe, the beauty was long forgotten by the people.
