I know that "it's not the camera, it's the man behind it" is the universal rule of any form of photography, but my lost Holga 135BC and Kodak EBX was my favorite pair for colorful analogue photography.
Holga 135BC was my first lomography camera. It’s an unstoppable debate whether a camera is a lomography camera or not, but my “first lomography camera” refers to the camera that I bought at Lomography Embassy Store, the official store of Lomography in Indonesia. Kodak EBX was my first slide film since 2009 because it’s the cheapest and readily available slide film in my hometown, Bandung, Indonesia in 2009.

Morning is one of the perfect times to shoot with the Holga 135BC loaded with Kodak EBX.

Even when the sun is hiding behind dark clouds, it still produces good, vivid colors.

It’s also perfect for sport photos when it’s required to be fast.

It’s good for taking photos not only in the city, but also at peaceful countryside villages such as the ricefield photo of my paternal grandmom’s village at Desa Drawati, Majalaya, Jawa Barat (West Java), Indonesia.

When you shoot white, it never be overexposed.

When you shoot yellow, you’ll have to take your Ray Bans and put it on your eyes because it’s very bright!

When you shoot green you’ll make your environment healthy with a “go green” lifestyle!

And don’t forget about multiple exposure shots, it will combine fun vivid colors!
