Perfect Combination: Natura Classica and X-pro Chrome

I'm still desperately clinging to my last 3-pack of Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100 film, and for a good reason! Shooting this gorgeous film through the Fuji Natura Classica has created one of my favorite film and camera combos of all time!

I was sad the day that the Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100 disappeared from the online shop, and shortly thereafter from my local Lomography Gallery Store. Luckily, I had secured a few packs, to which I now so desperately cling!

The first few times I shot the X-Pro Chrome film through my Fuji Natura Classica, I was very pleased. After three or four rolls with this camera, I was in love with the amazing contrast and saturation. For a while it was my go-to film whenever I was going out with my Natura Classica.

The best part about shooting the X-Pro Chrome film with the Natura Classica is that you can take great photos in very low-light situations. I even prefer to load a roll of this film on an overcast day as opposed to a very bright one. The Natura Classica is definitely the perfect camera for low light, and in combination with the X-Pro Chrome film, the colors come our very rich and saturated. I find this film is already very contrast-y when x-pro’d, so overcast days or shade plus the low ISO make for a great shooting opportunity.

However, even on a bright day this film and camera combination delivers! In brighter light, I find you see less of a dramatic color shift in this x-pro film, but the saturation still looks stunning!

I will definitely miss shooting with this film, as well as kodak elite chrome, in my Fuji Natura Classica. I hope one day Lomography might develop another x-pro film that looks similar to this one!

The Fuji Natura Classica is an exceptional, light-sensitive camera which allows you to take stunning analogue photographs using only available light. Its Natural Photo mode detects the subject’s brightness and adjusts the exposure accordingly, eliminating the need to use flash. You can't use natural photo mode with an ISO lower than 800, but I often find with lower ISOs I don't even need to use NP mode..that's the glory of the natura classica! I have great results with any and every kind of film I use in this camera. I absolutely love using slide films with it.
