My Analogue Bucket List for Year 2013

I don’t usually make any wishes or big plans for the future -- I’ll just take life as it happens come. But now it’s time to think different; here’s my bucket list for the year 2013:

1. Go to music festivals and other events

When summer finally comes I want to hit the festivals and other happenings big time, with camera in my hand. Lots of people having fun together…can’t wait!

2. Go to new places

Don’t know if I’m able to travel abroad this year, but at least I want to go new places in Finland. Finnish country side is full of wonderful things. All I have to do is find them.

3. Do a LomoProject in my city

I moved to Helsinki year ago and now that I know the city little bit better, it’s time shoot it with lomostyle. I have to think what places are the most important to me and what makes Helsinki such a great place for me.

4. Make my own book

This has been my plan for a while now. I develop and scan my own films and I never get prints, so this would be a good way get my shots printed.

5. Master your cameras

I want to learn to master my cameras current one and the future ones. I currently only have Diana Mini, which I’m still learning. I know how to use it, but I want to learn how to get pictures in every situation. This of course includes learning films too.

6. Learn to use accessories and different techniques

I need to learn how to get the best out of splitzer, how to do amazing doubles, color flash experiments and so on. Possibilities are endless!

7. Create own style or invent new technique

This is going to be hard, but I want to do something that people will immediately recognize that is done by me. Again, this is going to be VERY hard, but I’m going to try.

8. Go to museums, art exhibitions and sport events

I almost totally missed these last year, now I want to go to these places, have fun and get inspired.

9. Repair my DIY pinhole camera

I made this camera about two years ago and every time I shoot with it I just love the photos. Now its tripod thread is loose so I have to repair it before using it. I also found a new clever idea for “shutter”.

10. Keep my camera cabinet nice and clean

I need some kind of organizer for my camera stuff, now my cabinet is a mess and I can’t find anything there. Have to do it soon before something goes missing or gets broken.
