Celebrating New Year in Analogue Style

It was my first time celebrating New Year with my friends. Thankfully, I celebrated it by shooting fireworks with my Russian FED 5 and Kodak Elite Chrome Extra Color (EBX). Read about it after the jump!

In the year 2013, I managed to go for my first lomo outing with the group called Lomoplyr (pronounced as “Lomoplayer”). It was an exciting trip. We went to a beautiful island called Penang Island located in Malaysia. It’s not actually like a small island, but a quite big city. I spent the day hanging out with my friends.

We went to a very historic place called Fort Cornwallis. It’s a battle fort from the time when the British conquered Malaya.

At night, there was a concert organized by the state government. Just before midnight, the countdown we were waiting for started and all of us prepared our equipment to shoot some fireworks photos. I didn’t have any tripod so I just handheld it. I used my Russian FED 5. These are the results:
