其實這是有原因的。這項作品的創作概念來自於他生活中的改變，藉由水中倒影或地面上的影子，來說明人皆在不知不覺中變化，並已在不自覺的情況下改變了本質。而倒影中的人形還是不是自己？或者它只是一抹腦海中的影子呢？PoL Úbeda Hervàs 以特殊的光影效果，創作出的影子作品，不由得讓人對著影子深思了起來。
影子如影隨形，卻又會因為還境而產生不同的變化，在這個社會中我們是不是已忘了初衷，就像是隱形了影子卻還在。他在作品中刻意留下了一雙鞋子，藉此提醒自己，在改變的同時，留下的可不能只是一抹影子而已。
