It's already the end of December and I must say that 2012 came by so fast! I mean, I just realized that next month is January 2013! For me personally, 2012 has been a long, adventurous, wicked, and fun year! What more can I say? Here's my 2012 in Analogue!
1. The Wide Diary
To kick off 2012, I decided to make a project that is no stranger in the Lomography community. Remember the LC-A Diary back on 2009? I was so inspired by that then I would do it the same but this time using LC-Wide! Now I’m getting ready for LC-Wide race! Go Team Asia!
2. Foster The People
I’ve been waiting for Foster The People! On January, I watched them with my girl in Jakarta. The concert was so great! I simply love their energetic, lively music!
3. Trip to India
My trip to India is pretty much one of the highlights of 2012. It’s absolutely a dream come!
4. Doubles with my friends
I always love doing doubles and in 2012 I do a lot of doubles with my friends from all over the world! On this occasion I would to thank them (you know who you are). Thank you for doing these wonderful collaboration! Will continue doing film swaps on 2013! So stay tune!
5. Classic Wide Self Portraits
It’s fair to say that “Classic Wide Self Portraits” is a part of “The Wide Diary” project. Classic Wide Self Portraits is simply “grab my LC-Wide and shot myself in front of the window.” From that simple initiation, I begin to do some more and more self portraits! For LC-Wide users, you must try this!
6. 3 Weeks in Ubud
Living in Ubud (Bali) for 3 weeks is really a great great experience for me! I know this is my first experience to live far away from home and it was quiet something. I really learn a lot during my fieldwork there so it was quiet a personal experience for me. To do things on my own, well I think its called growing up! I just quote a line of a song from my all time favorite band, Blink 182!
LomoKino! I just bought it a month or so but I’m loving it to the bits! I don’t have a lot of time to make a long duration LomoKino movie but I’m planning to make some on 2013. Looking forward to use it again!
As I always said before, I’m so inspired by Tat’s “Life Suction.” The Diana Multi Pinhole Operator is a new camera for me after taking that trip to Ubud and I really really enjoy using it!
My master thesis is really something that I’m concentrating on at the moment and I haven’t finished it yet, but soon I’ll write it up so I could graduate eventually! That’s my early new year’s resolution — to finish my master thesis! May the force be with me!
10. Being happy
2012 is full of happy moments! I know there are bad times and good times but I want to share some happy moments here. Happy 2012!
There’s so many things happened in 2012 but the list above is something I remember and I’m so grateful for this wonderful year. 2012, you were so fast!
