Lomographer for a Day: Rubén

I submitted to Ruben, my little brother. We have always shared our games, pranks and some concerns, and although he is more like the digital type, he eyed my cameras and became interested in knowing what they can do or how they work.

He had already once picked up the Diana Mini to take some self-portraits:

It wasn’t until last March, when he went on a trip to Hervás in Caceres that the opportunity arose for him to become a Lomographer for a Day. I already had designed a double to make them with Rubén. Therefore, I gave him the Disderi 3, already loaded so they celebrated on his getaway. I knew that I was going to do.

Back again with a smile on his face, I thought that I better let him tell about the experience:

How long has it been since you last used analogue camera?
I believe that since 2000 more or less

How would you describe the experience in five or six words?
Different, exciting, fun, intrigue, curiosity, and surprising.

Which photo, of all that you took, do you like most and why?
There are two. The first is of my dog, because it stands up on a stone like the Lion King style and made me laugh so much. In addition, he comes out with another of my dogs, which is very interesting:

And the second photo that really I like is the one that shows my brother-in-law doing a jump, and I have been lucky that it came out in the photo:

If you could transport yourself to any place of the world with this camera and many films, which would be and why?
To Menorca,Spain, undoubtedly, because there are landscapes of all the types and flowers of all the colors.

Did you have fun taking the photos?
Yes, the uncertainty of how the photo will turn out, of whether it looks nice and well, and especially of how the developing has brought to mind many memories.

*What Lomo camera would you like to have?
The La Sardina and Flash, it is very nice, though I would not know which of all the cameras I will choose!

Finally, would you like to repeat the experience?
Yes, why not?

And here I leave his complete work. He has done the double with me, and his half is the first part. It’s not bad at all!
