Not so long a ago, there was a wonderful time when finding slide film was much easier. Back then, so many rolls of film were sold. Brands such as Kodak could produce multiple types of slide film, each with their own look. At that time, film manufacturers even advertised in consumer magazines. Take a look at some Kodak memories.
If you ask me today what my favorite film for use on any occasion the answer would be Kodak ProImage. It has always given me great results, no matter the conditions.
Kodak Ektachrome is a slide film that I have been able to test and quite like, but have been unable to master. Some of the photos have been a little disappointing but the results still fascinates me.
Unfortunately I have not been able to try the predecessor, Kodachrome. I hope to find a roll, because unfortunately, manufacture of Kodachrome stopped in 2009.
Here are some memories of a wonderful time when film was much easier to find, especially slide film:
What is your favorite Kodak film?
