Colorful and Elaborate Spray Paint Portraits by David Walker

A London-based artist has been decorating outdoor walls with beautiful and elaborate portraits using nothing but spray paint. Take a look at some of his work and learn more about them after the jump!

Drawing, sketching, or painting impressive portraits may be challenging in itself, but what if you had to use nothing but spray paint? Apparently, it’s not a problem for London-based artist David Walker, as he has been creating beautiful portraits using only spray paint since 2008.

Even without using brushes or stencils, David manages to create portraits that are explosive both in colors and details. His works are sizable artworks that demand precision and control to achieve the textures, lines, and shadows for each portrait, and it’s somewhat mind-boggling how he does it by just directly applying spray paint. Take a look at some photos of his exceptional street art below:

The first two portraits in the gallery above are David’s latest works spotted in London and Paris, and recently featured by Street Art Utopia.

What do you think of David Walker’s spray painted portraits? Has any of you spotted his works out in the streets? Share your thoughts with us with a comment below!
