Candy Store Displays for Halloween '69

By now, many are most likely flocking to candy stores to replenish their stash of sweets, candies, and other treats for Halloween. If you're ever curious about how candy stores used to be decorated many Halloweens past, take a look at these vintage store displays enticing buyers to get ready for trick or treat!

Stores everywhere are most likely dressed in full Halloween look now that we have roughly 5 more days to go before the fright night. But, have you ever wondered how candy stores and sweet shops of decades past dressed their spaces to be attuned with the occasion’s spooky spirit? Jason Liebig of Collecting Candy offers us a peek of retail store displays and their Halloween decorations from 1969:

    I wish I could have been alive in those days to try the old-fashioned candy and see the carefully crafted displays. It seems that <a href="http://www.aaadisplays.com/">store fixtures</a> today are hastily thrown together to fulfill a corporate requirement.
