The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh may be one of the most recognizable masterpieces in history. It has been replicated in a number of mediums over countless of times, and it is apparent that the world’s fascination will not cease anytime soon.
And now, here’s yet another replica but something more unconventional. David Goldberg, a local owner of a hardware store in Bethseda, Maryland, had a warehouse full of discontinued brass door hardware in his hands, but instead of just selling them for scrap, he decided to create this wonderful mural.
Personally, Starry Night is one of my favorite artworks of all time, and I don’t think I will ever get tired seeing it replicated. What do you guys think?
