Creative Road Markings on Shelly Bay Road

If you've read the Wellingtonian some time ago, you would know about the weird scissor markings along Shelby Bay Road. A woman reported it to the Wellingtonian and asked what they were, but no one seemed to know who made these.

The scissor-shaped markings are painted randomly along the center line on Wellington’s Shelly Bay Road. A curious woman, Judy Thornett, decided to ask The Wellingtonian, the owner of the Chocolate Fish Cafe, as well as the Wellington City Council. Her investigation, however, did not solve the scissor mystery.

The markings can also be found near Wellington International Airport.

So, who is this artist with the quirky sense of humor? Do you know anything about this mystery? Shed some light if you do!
