Lifestyle Feature of the Week

This week's featured Analogue Lifestyle article is "My Childhood in Analogue: Caution, Embarrassing Photos Ahead" by community member Erin Woodgates of Canada. We asked for your adorable baby and childhood photos and Erin shared some of her cute (and cringe-worthy) family shots.

“You know those pictures that people take of children and say ‘bring that out when she is 21’ or ’That’s one to show the future husband’. Well, these are mine. I’m an only child. My parents always had a camera in some shape or form and, of course, being an only child I was the centre on their attention so there are a lot of photos of me growing up.”

We chose this article because we love the analogue nostalgia Erin’s photos bring back! Her parents’ awesome documentation and archiving skills are worth noting too since she has lots of lovely, well-preserved photos from her youth. Doesn’t it make you want to dig up boxes in the attic or albums back home and reminisce on the good old days of analogue living? That will be my weekend project so expect more kiddie shots in the coming days. Why don’t you submit your own for some Piggies? You might also like Childhood in Analogue: My First Adventures at Sea by sirio147 and My Childhood in Analogue by yopanic.

Congratulations on winning 10 Piggies!
