This month I bring you the first tasty piece of analogue vinyl I ever purchased: A-Ha's Hunting High and Low. For that reason and that alone, it's a classic album!

At the end of last month’s Classic Album, I decided not to give you an intro to this month’s. It ended so well on the lyric and I didn’t know how I was going to better it. I left my options open. But, last month’s was, in all honesty, a bit of a downer. This month I decided to chose something to bring the party back to life.
Hunting High and Low was released 1st June 1985 — a massive commercial success it sold more than 10 million copies across the world. In 1986 it was nominated for a Grammy and A-Ha became the first Norwegian group ever nominated.
Take On Me: If you need to ask why I chose this photo, you shouldn’t be reading this. Thanks natalieerachel for a perfect, perfect picture for this song!

Hunting High And Low: “She’s sound asleep and she’s sweeter now than the wildest dream could have seen her…” Just a lovely image!

The Blue Sky: “The lady at my table doesn’t want me here I just want to talk to her…I’m dying to be different in the coffee shop.” A little irony/coincidence?

Living A Boy’s Adventure Tale: I know in the photo it’s a girl, but this is my article! “I’m living a boy’s adventure tale, can’t escape, if I wanted to, living a boy’s adventure tale, I may be dreaming but I feel awake.”

The Sun Always Shines on T.V.: “Touch me and give all your love to me…” One of the most subtly romantic shots in the Community!

And You Tell Me: “I’m trying hard to make you jealous…Trying harder to make you stay…” The feeling is in the eyes.

Love Is Reason: “I’d die at the thought of the loss of your heart.”

I Dream Myself Alive: “I’m drawing pictures of the sea, right from the start I knew this girl would break my heart.” I like the way this lomograph feels more like a vague memory rather than a document of a moment.

Here I Stand And Face The Rain: “Here I stand and face the rain, I know that nothing’s gonna be the same again, I fear for what tomorrow brings…”
