Rule #1: Take Your Camera Everywhere You Go

I am usually the last person to remember to throw a camera in the bag before I leave home. But now that I have joined the Lomo movement, I have the 10 Golden Rules to follow. I am making myself familiar with each one of the rules by acknowledging each rule with photos!

The first rule is to Take Your Camera Everywhere You Go. So I went out this weekend and I took my borrowed Diana Mini out for my biweekly shopping. I usually have a shopping list with me, but with the camera in hand it seems that I tend to look at and consider buying other veggies that are NOT on my list. Good thing I had limited cash with me!

So what do you guys think? I think these pictures turned out as dark as the ones I took with my Diana F+ in this post. I think it might be my scanner after all. I will have to play around with it some more this weekend.

Stay tuned for my photos on the second golden rule, Use it anytime, day and night. I’m going to have pictures of yummy stuff that I eat day and night! I’m using my Diana F+ and I still have about 20 exposures to go! I’ve set it to N, and I will work harder when scanning them. Wish me luck friends!

By the way, are any of you who are reading this from Amsterdam? I need a tour guide sometime in September :D

The Diana Mini is the ultra-compact, petite version of the Diana F+. This camera takes soft-focused, lo-fi images in 35mm and allows you to change between half-format and square shots with a flick of a switch. Get your own Diana Mini now!

Great! I love food photos. Do you have any complaints from the store or booth owners?

@bsdunek Not here, I've been going to this market for years and made friends with the owners. So I was snapping around as we were chatting with each other :D
