All About photokina 2012

photokina 2012 is almost here! Find out what's going on, what you can find there and get a sneak preview of what events Lomography is going to offer at this year's fair!

All photography fans have heard about photokina, the world’s greatest fair for photography and imaging. If you’re a die hard photographer as a hobby or as a professional, you definitely can’t afford to miss this biennial fair!

Hundreds of thousands of visitors come to visit Cologne, Germany every other year to keep themselves up-to-date with the latest trends in the photography industry. If you’re not there for the research, come for the fun!

The exhibition is not only going to have over 1000 stands of various exhibitors, but photokina offers a wide range of activities for its visitors, including informative special shows and many interesting projects. They will also be exhibiting gorgeous photos from all over the world. You can also take part in the fair by participating in photokina’s attractive contests and competitions.

Wow! These will definitely keep you busy during the fair. Good thing it lasts for awhile (September 18-23, 2012). And to get you even more excited about the fair, we’re going to give you a little sneak peek on what Lomography is planning on.

The Lomography booth will be standing tall and proud on a 500 square meter space. There will be a lot for you to see for sure! Need a beginner’s guide into Lomography or advanced tricks with your analogue camera? Lomography will be offering a number of workshops for both newbies and advanced photographers. Which ever workshop you choose, it will definitely be something fun. Make sure you take notes. Just kidding, no note-taking required. Just make sure you have fun!
