The Wide Variety of an LC-Wide

If you have an uncanny talent of seeing the world in various shapes and sizes, then the LC-Wide is your best friend for the adventure! This camera is not only good-lookin' on the outside, it does wondrous things to complement your creativity!

The Lomo LC-Wide allows you to capture the world in 3 different formats!

The first format is the Full Format (Standard 36×24mm). With a standard film roll of 36 exposure film, you will get 36 remarkable full-frame shots like the ones below! To activate the full frame format, you must first take out the plastic frame from the camera chamber. Then (on the bottom part of the camera) switch the Advancing Control Switch to “FF/S” mode. You will also need to open the Lens Cover Switch (located on the bottom front of the camera) to “FF/S” when you want to shoot.

The second format is the Square Format (24×24mm). Who says squares are old-fashioned and conventional?! Quadrilaterals with equal sides will give you a window with four 90-fegree angles that are equally spaced from one another. It will stimulate and inspire your mind for sure! For the square format, you would have to take the 24×24mm (S) plastic frame and insert it into the Film Chamber. Then, all you need to do is make sure that the Advancing Control Switch is on “FF/S” mode, and you’re ready to shoot square frames!

The third format is the Half-Frame Format (17×24mm). This format will definitely motivate you to take more and more pictures, because you will never get bored with the results! You’ll be able to take 72 shots from a normal roll of 36 exposure film! For those of you who wants to run wild with a normal roll of 36 exposure film, this is the way to go! Just like the Square Format, the Half-Frame Format also has a 17×24mm (HF) plastic frame that needs to be inserted into the Film Chamber. Then you would need to make sure that both the Advancing Control Switch and the Lens Cover Switch is set to “HF” mode before going on your shooting frenzy. The Lomo LC-Wide boasts the newly-developed 17mm Minigon Ultra-Wide Angle lens. This 35mm camera wonder is the perfect companion for your photo expeditions. It produces eye-catching splashes of colour with astonishing saturation and contrasts with the added versatility of 3 different formats. Open up to a new photographic experience with the LC-Wide, available in our Shop.
