Let me share with you my story about spending a holiday in a remote island town with pristine white sand beach and charming locals! For most of us whose lives revolve around the metro, summer is not complete without the perfect vacation by the beach. At these times, travelers head off to Boracay or Palawan, two of the most popular beach destinations in the Philippines.
An archipelago with more than a thousand islands, the country is also surrounded by vast oceans and beaches that most people have not even heard of.
One of which is sitting in the middle part of the Philippines – the island of San Antonio in Northern Samar province. It’s an island town, untouched and not developed, comparable to the more popular white sand beach of Boracay.
Nature lovers would fall in love with this town. The scenery is perfect with the sky so blue, the crystal waters inviting, and the friendly smiles of the town people.
The town also boasts of its fresh produce, mostly seafood served at the local restaurants if you’re staying in one of the resorts.
Armed with my Fisheye 2, spending time in this magnificent island is one summer I’d always remember.
