If she were to justify her habit of using film at this current era where everything seems to be done and processed with numerical codes and machine languages, well, she got a lot of reasons and you’ll get to know all about it as she’s our Newcomer of the Week!

How did you find out about the Community and who/what convinced you to join?
Well, I started off wandering in Tumblr. I was very impressed by Lomography and I realized that I could actually try taking photos that are as stunning as those on the internet. So, I searched for Lomo cameras and here, I found this community. :)
Is there anyone in the Lomographic Society you look up to? If yes, who is him/her and why?
Basically everyone/everything! I get inspired in this Lomography website, in Tumblr, and sometimes in Facebook. The Diana Mini ‘Shoot Forever’ booklet is aweeesomee as well! :p
As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?
They have to be the ‘Don’t Think’ and ‘You don’t have to know beforehand’ rules. That’s what I like most about Lomography!
In this digital age, why still film?
Yeah, my parents always ask me this question. I can never finish explaining how much I’m obsessed with lomography. But to start with:
I love how I don’t have to think before I shoot.
I love how I look forward to getting the developed photos.
I love how the shutter sound sounds like.
I love how ‘toyish’ my Lomo cam looks like.
I love how I spend hours on looking for different kinds of films.
I love how I try out new stuff with this Lomo camera
I love how special it is to use film cameras, in my age. :p
And most important,
I love how flaws flawless <3
…. As I’ve said, I can never finish explaining how much I’m obsessed with Lomography!!
Share your current favorite Lomograph (could be yours or a friend’s) and explain why it is your favorite.
This is one of my current favs. It is taken by grazie when she was going north to visit her grandparents. I like how simple this photo is. It gives me a peaceful feeling and the flowers are soo beautiful!
