Mafiosa and Her Weapon of Choice, the Lomo X-Pro Chrome 100

Just like any Lomo-addict out there, it’s this emulsion that certainly won her heart! Despite the many choices available, still this is the only one she loads in her camera without any hesitations, whatsoever!

Why is this film your Weapon of Choice?

I love the skewed colours that comes from the C-41 processing of this film.

What are the memorable experiences you’ve had while using this Weapon of Choice?

The first time I remember using this film was when the great atria007 sent me a roll for a film swap. I knew that if she was using this film, it had to be good. I made sure to purchase it the next time I came across it, and now I use it fairly regularly. Another memorable experience with this film was during the recent Analogue Alberta Lomo Meet in Sylvan Lake. I used this film with my Horizon Perfekt camera and the blue-green lens filter. This resulted in some of my favorite photos.

Would you recommend this to other Lomographers? If yes, to whom do you have in mind?

I would certainly recommend this film to other Lomographers, although I don’t have anyone specific in mind since I’m sure that most of them are already aware of it.

What is your favorite film and why?

It’s really hard to just pick one film that is my favorite. I love so many different films, and like to use a variety. I like thinking about pairing different films with different cameras to try to achieve certain effects. Recently, I have been very pleased with the results I’ve been getting from the Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100 film.

It could be your favourite film emulsion, a cheap plastic toy camera or the most fun accessory you have and they are your Weapon of Choice! Want yours to be seen here next week? Then just drop us a line at jason.delosreyes@lomography.com and you’ll get to show everyone what your Lomo snaps are made of!
