How did you find out about the Community and who/what convinced you to join?
A few years ago my boyfriend gave me a Zenit E. I knew something about analogue shooting and started to make my own pictures. Then I bought a Lomo Compact Automat to shoot everywhere I go. I created my LomoHome to share the photos.
Is there anyone in the Lomographic Society you look up to? If yes, who is him/her and why?
There really isn’t just one person that I look up to. I look up to everyone especially the few people who have liked my pictures. There are always many people in the society who can teach you to shoot WOW photos :)
As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?
There are two rules I follow in my everyday life. Rule #1 “Take your Camera Everywhere You Go” and Rule #2 “Use it Anytime – Day and Night.” I don`t want to miss something I can shoot.
In this digital age, why still film?
It`s difficult to answer. There is a certain element of unpredictability with film and I love it. And I think there is no matter what camera you shoot. The main thing is the result and self-expression. I`ve tried to work with digital camera but I didn`t like it. Digital photography requires a lot of post processing and time. I am just happy when I hold new film and my negatives. Film photography is for creative slackers :)
*Share your current favorite Lomograph (could be yours or a friend’s) and explain why it is your favorite. *
I’ve seen the album by hodachrome. Great colors! I really enjoy his doubles.
And it’s my favorite self-portrait.
I took it with my LC-A loaded with Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100. I love it because of the colors they are really sour :)
