Lifestyle Feature of the Week

This week's featured lifestyle article is "Super Selfies: The Same Over and Over Again" by gregor-muller of Italy. Armed with a Diana Mini and wearing touristy outfits and a big smile on his face, he takes self-portraits during his travels.

“Last summer almost all of my friends became so annoyed with me constantly taking pictures of them when they were least expecting it that I started to do more self-portraits. I just take my Diana Mini in both hands, hold them stretched out in front of my face, grin and take the picture.”

“I try to get myself in the middle of the picture and keep the same distance but of course they are all a bit different. So far I have pictures from Hesse, Delphi, Olympia, Udine, Venice, Athens and Belluno.”

We picked this post by gregor-muller because looking at his photos, with its straight-on angles and iconic landmarks in the background, is like bumping into a friend in the most unexpected places. Like, “Oh hey! What are you doing here?!?” Looking at Gregor’s selfies is like unexpectedly meeting an old friend in all these picturesque settings and cities.

Congratulations on winning 10 piggies!
