Weapon of Choice: Lomography X-Pro Slide film in 35mm format, ISO 200
Why is this film your weapon of choice?
- the colours change depending on which camera you use but they’re never dull. They always pop and make an already good picture great! I was really surprised when I got my first results back from the lab since I hadn’t expected them to be so amazing! This slide film also goes great with (colour) flash. Another big advantage is the price. As a student it’s not always easy to keep money aside for Lomographic purposes, but these films are relatively cheap for what you get in return.
Do you love grain in your photos? Why or why not?
It depends. Generally I’m not really a big fan of grain but in this case I am. Lomography Slide film does have a slight grain in its pictures and it gives them an extra authentic feel. The combination of the popping colours and the fine grain is superb!
