Top 5 Cameras on My 2012 Bucket List

Having three analogue cameras of my own already, is that enough? No of course it isn't! The journey doesn't end at just 5 cameras! Check out my analogue bucket list for 2012.

The three cameras I have are the Yashica Minitec (which has awesome vignettes effects though it is super heavy!), the Diana Mini White (I love the snow-white colour and its convenient size) and my silver Fuji Instax Cheki x Yone 50 (Instant gratification trumps almost everything else!)

Now, I will move on to talk about my top 5 most-coveted cameras of the year, starting from No. 5!

  1. The LomoKino

Of course, the new revolutionary gimmick that Lomography recently produced. It is a breakthrough in the Lomography analogue world. Now, everyone can produce movies of their own!

  1. The La Sardina

Who can resist the sleek black and white design of the Domino, coupled with its wide-angle lens? NOT ME! Go on a sea voyage with the sardine can camera!

  1. The Fuji Instax Wide 210

Instant gratification yet again! But in a much larger form, as compared to my Instax mini 50! This super-sized camera provides super-sized gratification!

  1. Diana F+ Edelweiss

Is my Diana Mini White enough? Of course not! With the also snow-white big sister, I will be able to attach lens and even a 35mm back to adapt the camera to 35mm film! Though bigger, this big baby provides more shooting options!

  1. LC-Wide

Any camera collection is not complete, without the LC-Wide. This deluxe camera is the ultimate addition to any collection, and will triumph as king of your cameras. Now, I am just waiting for a white version to match my Diana Mini White and my (potential Diana Edelweiss)!

After 5 cameras, you may ask, is that all?

Of course not, there are so many cameras out there that are worthy additions to any collection, but it is a painful choice to just choose 5. Also, with so many cameras, you need many films as well! Why not head down to the Lomography Online Shop and grab yourself some films to feed both your cameras’ hunger and yours?

Let’s make 2012 a year full of creativity and analogue love! If you liked this article, go ahead and check the rest of analogue bucket lists for 2012 submitted by the community! Of course, you can also submit your own inspiring analogue bucket list for 2012 and get more piggies!

Isn't a bucket list things to do before you die?

@kneehigh85 I picked a Trip up from a car boot for a fiver. They all tend to have stuck aperture blades even though they are sold as working. I fixed and cleaned and reskinned mine to look like this: http://www.lomograph(…)pus-trip-35

If you do get one let me know if you need any help.

@veato oh that would be good. There were some refurbed ones on ebay for about £30 but I would really have been buying them because I liked the pretty skin colours!

The covers are cheap from here: http://aki-asahi.com(…)/trip35.php. It's where I got my green lizard one from. Dead easy to fit.
