I have an ongoing project dedicated for my very first born child.Special moment that every married couple waited. It feels good to be a daddy!
Inspired by Jamie Livingston (October 25, 1956 – October 25, 1997), I decided to do my very own mini-project based on Jamie’s “Polaroid A Day.” Instead, I’m using Fuji Instax Mini because Polaroid is quite expensive compared to Fuji Instax. I called my project “Instax A Day: Iffat Altamis” and started doing it right after he was born on 17th Sept 2011!
This ongoing project will go on until he reaches his 1st birthday. I’m hoping that I can finish it without fail,at least i got something special for him capturing the moment he was born until he turns a year old. For the time being, I just need to make sure that I don’t miss a single day to take his photo and watch him grow from time to time.
It feels like dream having your very own child and starting your own family. One thing is for sure, I will make sure that he will follow my footsteps to be a analogue camera lover and share my passion about photography, specifically Lomography! LOMO ON!
For spur-of-the-moment pictures that can’t wait to be seen and loved, our Instant Cameras will do its job in giving you your shots in no time! Check out our selection here.

Congrats! You must be a very proud parent. Your baby will have lots of instax photos to look back to when he's grown up.

You know what? This is my birthday too, funny to think about when I was eating cakes with my friends and family, you became father of your son :) I remember it was a lovely day.
Good luck!

The most exciting thing about this project is going to be one day when he's much older looking at the photos and it hits him that he was once actually experiencing the moment of those photographs.

That's brilliant! I did the same for my baby but digitally - I was convinced it would be too much hard work going the analogue route lol. This was the result http://www.albelli.c(…)d5cd23e43ce
