I wanted to start a monthly flick book for the best of lomography out there! The online books center around themes; the previous installments have already featured the legendary LC-A and LC-A+ cameras, medium format cameras, and multi-lens cameras. This time, we featured multiple exposures!
Lomo Lovers was started by two sisters who have a passion for lomography and want to share what’s out there to fellow lomographers. We create monthly “inspiration books.” Different cameras, film, techniques, and maybe some specialist features—you name it, we just want to share it. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to these issues; without you the book would be empty!
The 4th Volume was all about multiple exposures. Multiple exposures are among our favorite unpredictable techniques and I just can’t get enough. I’m always amazed with the fantastic results, so enjoy!
We featured fantastic “inspirational Lomographer” James Butler (slimmer_jimmer on Flickr), and an awesome seasonal fireworks doubles tipster with the help of Daz B. But the best part was seeing everyone’s truly inspirational analogue shots!
We had such a great response that we have continued creating the online book. We have been on a month-long break for the festive season, but don’t worry, we are already planning the next volumes, and will be back on the February 1st!
It’s the New Year so this time we are looking for your best NEW CAMERA, TECHNIQUE, or FILM shots for Volume 6! Got your first shots back from a new camera? Tried a new film or technique for the first time and want to show them off? If so, you have one more month to experiment and visit our LomoLovers Flickr group to start posting. Deadline for Vol. 6 is on the 21st of January.
We are constantly looking for great Lomographers to submit their work, so what’s stopping you?
