We, here at Lomography Manila, love all things analogue! In this moving pictures series, we, your friendly neighborhood web team, present you our vintage-like ventures with our newest Super 35 camera -- the LomoKino! Here is one of our writers, Sunshine, and her first footage on personal habits!

Meet Sunshine — from the Marketing/Magazine team!
Analogue-wise, she writes microsite content and newsletters! She also contributes to the International Magazine and has ongoing series such as Midweek Movies and Put Your Headphones On Fridays.

Likes: breakfast meals, love letters, naps
Describes the LomoKino as: Unpredictable!

Sunshine has always been curious about other people’s personal habits, so she asked us, her officemates, if we were willing to brush our teeth in front of the LomoKino. It took about 3 to 4 rolls of film and she had to re-load in between our brushing, so some of us started to complain that our gums were getting numb. Since the LomoKino viewfinder isn’t a hundred percent accurate, some of the headshots were cut but surprisingly, the results rendered became more interesting and entertaining to watch.

Sunshine says, “The colors, grit, and grain vary since I processed them in expired and fresh chemicals. I’m also a bit careless with the film processing, which explains the scratches and light leaks. I’m quite happy with the results though, and I’m already thinking of the next “personal habit” to shoot with the LomoKino!

Whoa, that was hilarious, Sunshine! Great job with the DIY film processing and scanning as well. We certainly had fun during the shoot! Thank you for sharing your LomoKino video with the Community and we’re excited with your next ‘personal habits’ series! :)

Stay tuned for the next installments of Lomography Manila Team in Motion with the LomoKino! Meanwhile, you may visit Sunshine’s LomoHome: shhquiet.
