All of us at Lomography Canada are HUGE fans of our furry friends, so it was only fitting to have Lomography at the 2nd annual Paws for the Cause in Toronto!
Fashion, dogs and great company… What more could you ask for?! Paws for the Cause, a Toronto-based organization, held its second annual Paws Gala at Airship 37 in downtown Toronto on October 27th, 2011. Benefiting the Ontario Veterinary College’s Pet Trust Fund, all proceeds went to this great cause. This year, a portion of the money raised will even go to a scholarship for University of Guelph veterinary students. We had the great honour of attending this gala and we had an absolute blast!
The stunning dog-walkers were modelling Philip Sparks Tailored Goods Inc. and the lovely pups were fitted in Babies & Beasts. Many “awwwwws” were heard and snapshots were taken around the room as the dogs strutted their stuff on the catwalk.
Aside from the fashion show, there was, of course, plenty of good food, drink and desserts, all themed around dogs! The LGS Toronto donated a great Diana F+ Black Jack bundle that went to one lucky raffle auction winner at the end of the night. Local celebrities, tv personalities and media people all gathered for this great event… we even met Tanya Kim from eTalk Canada!
