Forget too-good-to-be-true graphics and special effects - the scratchy, grainy appeal of film adds an unmistakable charm to music videos. For this week's PYHOF, we prepared a list of music videos taken with film - hopefully it inspires you to make your own analogue videos!
They don’t make them like they used to – most music videos nowadays are pixel-smooth and over-the-top, enhanced with CGI and other effects. Though some do try to recreate the analogue feel by adding textures and tweaking the colors and saturation, nothing still beats the grit and grain of film.

Have you heard of Aura Halal? They did a video for Friends' "I'm His Girl" which is just great use of lo-fi analogue video!

I love Super 8! Madonna's'Erotica' video was shot on Super 8 too and it's considered a piece of Art.
