When I was browsing through my photo albums, I found out that most of the animal pictures I took were of cats!
Actually, I had history with cats. There were cats loitering around my house’s backyard when I was a kid. I liked to play with the cats but never really held them. One day, I was trying to catch one of the cat’s body but failed to do so. Then I tried again and managed to grab it’s tail. Bad thing happened next. The cat turned its head bit my finger! Ouch! >.<
I wonder why nobody told me that cats don’t like people messing with their tails. But I don’t think I would have listened back then. Haha! Anyway, lesson learned! Even though I was bitten, I don’t hate cats or have phobia of cats. Its just that I became more cautious when dealing with them.
I like shooting cats. I find them very interesting. There are many sides of a cat: mysterious, playful, curious, quiet… You name it, you got it! Sometimes, I get to meet with friendly cats which allow me to take pictures of them laying down, stretching body or licking their fur. Other times, cats would run away at the speed of lightning the moment they see me.
I’m having so much fun shooting cats with my analogue camera. I don’t mind kneeling down just to get a better picture of them. I wonder what’s in their mind. Do they feel like a royalty when I do that? Meow~

Ha, cats are taking over! I like it a lot, because I have a cat myself, but where are all the dog people at? Anyways, I love all the cat pictures floating around here lately :)

@laurasulilly there are loads of Pug shots all over this site. But I must admit cats rule...... with Pugs coming a close second!

@laurasulilly hey...your cat is cute! :) I love dogs but I do not keep one because my parents not a dog person. It's easier to capture cats' pictures here as they are everywhere!

I love my cats, but I find I take more pictures of my dog. I think this is because the cats run at the sight of the camera and its flash while Doggy doesn't care.

@emperornorton I do agree with you...most cats run at the sight of camera. I'm lucky to capture a few. Hopefully I can get more pictures of dogs in the future. :)

I love cats very much too, but it's hard to take good shot of them, isn't it? They are always moving, othewise sleeping... My cat don't like to be shot by camera. Cats in your photos look so natural and relaxed... very cute!!
