This awesome photo of Marilyn Monroe was taken by famous photographer Philippe Halsman.
Marilyn Monroe is an icon. Enough said, as we wouldn’t know where to start. This photo was taken by Philippe Halsman, who collaborated with Salvador Dalí, shot well known portraits of Albert Einstein, Alfred Hitchcock, Judy Garland, Winston Churchill, Dorothy Dandridge, Pablo Picasso among others, developed a philosophy of jump photography (which he called jumpology) and thought about three rules for photographers to produce unusual pieces of work: the rule of the unusual technique, the rule of the added unusual feature and the rule of the missing feature. And this just scratches the surface.
