Analogue Lifestyle: My Childhood in Analogue!

Some pictures from when I was a cute kid and times were simpler. When kids actually went outside and played no matter the weather!

This is moi as a youngster:

Looking like a happy kid! Shame I don’t remember that.

A few years later my (now obnoxious) little brother came along.

He was a good kid; now, he is just a pain.

Then, I started school, and those weren’t happy times or happy memories, but it was good in the beginning until everyone grew up into brats.

We went on school trips. We were 8 years tops here. This is me and my friend whom I’ve known since I was six. This is what kids back in the days did: draw with oil crayons on a stone to make a figure. Damn, if we weren’t easily entertained.

I also remember us playing adventures in the bushes in the summer and in the winter, jumping from a ledge and into a pile of snow. We did that for hours. We didn’t have any electronic games or iPads or own computers. We ran around outside or inside. Once, for some reason, this same friend in the picture, who shared a bunk bed with her little brother, she slept on top of course cause she was older – once the top mattress was on the floor, and one of the boards was missing so we spent a good 2 hours going up the ladder and jumping through the hole of the missing board and up and down again. Good times.

We didn’t need toys much, we just took whatever we had and made it into something cool with our imagination.

Me and my friends little brother Tobias, Johan (who you can see in plenty of my pictures), me and my 3 cousins and my little brother in the front.

If there is anything I’m going to tell my possible future children it’s this:

Don’t be in a hurry to grow up because you’ll only be a kid once, and being a kid is wonderful. And I’ll try to get them outside, and regulate video/computer games and all electronics.
