The simple life in a little country village, a father who was an amateur photographer, and a great desire to smile. What more could you ask for? This is my childhood, in analogue.
Do you see that little baby in the crib? How about next picture? A child, who from the very first day was laughing out loud! That’s me! Class of ’74! The best!
I was born in a small village with about 2000 souls on the outskirts of Rovigo (between Ferrara and Padua). A country town, inhabited by simple people. You knew everyone, so much so that the gate of our house was always open. During summer, it was a “must” to play after dinner with the neighborhood kids; hide and seek, or even improvised soccer matches along the a street seldom passed by cars!
Let’s face it! Even as a child, one could very well see the turn that I took:
Beautiful women,
alcohol,
fantastic cakes!
Luckily, I do not smoke!
I enjoyed it like crazy, being a model to my father, who was an amateur photographer.
I love to help my grandfather in the garden, too!
I never liked the sea, though!
Look at my nose in this photo!
Here are some photos from our trip to Venice!
I realized that even as a child, I was already seeking for what would be my passion; my future. Just look at how I constantly had cameras in my hands, or how I strolled equipped with a professional bag!
When I read about the requested post for the month, I had a mixture of enthusiasm and emotions that bring back all these wonderful memories. THANKS GUYS!

It is always interesting to see life from someone else's perspective. Well-documented! Very heart-warming indeed.
