Meet Leo, my walking and talking Lomography manual!
Leo started his Lomography journey back in 2010. He has always been a photography enthusiast kind of person. He loves to capture landscapes and precious moment with clicks. His first analogue camera is the Lomography LC-A+, which is a cool looking camera. Later on, he got himself another analogue camera, the Horizon Perfekt. It is a fun looking camera also, which I think it kinda looks like a submarine! :p
Leo allows me to play with his cameras. I am such a lucky person! He brings me out every now and then for shooting sessions. I always ask him questions regarding the setting and angles as I feel insecure about the outcome of my own work. Sometimes, he answers my questions; but most of the time he will instruct me to shoot freely. I guess he is simply trying to implant these rules into my head: “Don’t think,” and “You don’t have to know beforehand what you captured on film!”
We manage to have fun and a great time together during the shooting sessions. Sometimes we do silly stuff such as posing in weird ways and making funny facial expressions. I am glad that he is willing to accept the craziness in me, and not judge me for being silly.
Lomography has become part of Leo’s life and I am happy that he brings me into it. Lomography definitely rocks! So does Leo! :)
