Escape the City: Flee to Nature

Sometimes you get bored of all the concrete, subways and skyscrapers surrounding you. There's only one cure: find your freedom in the nature. Get lost in the forest, run through meadows and lie down in a field of flowers to watch the clouds passing by.

I always preferred staying in the house over going outside and spending days on discovering the lovely nature around me. I simply enjoyed more being safe at home. It was Lomography that opened my eyes to see what a beautiful, rural nature, untouched by human, is around me.

I live in a very rural area, where you can find cows and sheep right behind your house. The next tree is directly next to your house in a paradise of green growing pleasure. People grow their own vegetables and fruits. My Mom makes a cake every weekend and we make our own raspberry-jam every spring.

The world’s still okay here, the world’s not a mess yet. But as the next town is just a few minutes away, we tend to forget to appreciate the freedom and amazing landscape we have here. But now I can look through a plastic lens and see all the features nature offers to us here.

Green is the new color, the color of the future. It’s time for a change, time to stop and think and enjoy the world instead of destroying it! So go out, lomo on, and fall in love with the nature!
