Alias: Vicuna

Bio:
I’m a passionate analogue lover since 1996 and have been shooting lomo since 2004. I live on a beautiful little island called Raiatea (French Polynesia) which is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

What do you most love about the La Sardina?
I really like the pocket size and the simplicity of the camera. No technical knowledge is needed, it’s got very few settings and a very wide lens, so that you can enjoy free shooting without thinking. The Sardine can design is also very cute.

How would you describe La Sardina in five words?
Wide, simple, fun, intuitive and cute

The strangest, funniest, or hands-down greatest Lomographic encounter that you have ever had?
Shooting some kids jumping from a pier, they were quickly attracted by the very funny design of the camera and wanted to see the shots immediately. But I told them that it was a film camera and a little girl said: “But there’s the USB plug for putting the pictures on the computer?” I wondered where she saw the USB plug, and it was in fact it was the flash connector… I explained to her that the pictures were inside the canister, and that it will need a bit time before seeing the results… She was kind of surprised that you can shoot non-digital pictures…

Your advice to future La Sardina shooters?
It’s so easy and fun to shoot with La Sardina, The lomo-rule “Don’t think, just shoot” applies perfectly to this camera. And don’t forget to use the mx button for stunning double exposures!
