The Lomography meet-up at Manchester!
So, this was my first ever meet with other people who are into analogue photography…
I nervously arrived at the meeting spot a bit too early so I popped out for a cig and got talking to the big issue man for a bit (you will probably see me talking to him on @littlemisslove’s group picture! haha).
So got to the top floor meeting room, and sat down all quiet. I’m quite shy at first meeting new people so sorry if I didnt get around to talking to everyone, I’ll be better next time. Anyway, after some minor technical problems it all got underway and before long we were all given some yummy cameras to borrow (I got the LC-A yaaaaaaay) and we were off out on a Lomography mission.
First stop was the China Town district
Second stop was Market Street area
I ended up using 3 rolls of film, 1 xpro 100, 1 homemade redscale 800 (in my Olympus trip) and a 2006 Kodak Max 400.
I had a great time and loved meeting people, although I am a bit crap on first dates! And thanks to the Lomo team for coming and playing out with us. Hope you have a good trip home!
