Since I read the LomoPeople Callout I thought about my niece Uxia, who soon will be six.
That’s because my little niece loves to clown around and she is such a photogenic girl! I’ve taken thousand of photos of her and she still poses happily (not always). Sometimes she insists in seeing her photos immediately and she freaks out every time she realizes my analogical camera has not a screen in the back.
Uxia strongly believes she is a celebrity because she can see her photos on the Internet. Who could be brave enough to get that idea out of her mind?
As I said, she loves to pose, but I don’t use to ask her about, because when I do it she starts to making faces that make her mother crazy. Anyway, posing is not necessary, because if I follow her long enough I can get a good photo.
She also takes her own pictures; when she started to play with every member of the family’s cameras, we had to buy her one. Now she is the proud owner of a small Hello Kitty digital camera. But soon I will initiate her into Lomography. What would it be better: an ActionSampler or a Fisheye?
Some people believe that children photos are twee, but I think they are awesome, and if my niece is on it, still better!
