Always there for the last shot on the reel.
I get a Fisheye 1 as a birthday present and I want to try it out straight away. I drag him into the sunshine to take my first photographs. I put the lens right in his face.
He unenthusiastically accompanies to me to the shopping centre to get film processed. And there is one more photo to take. So I take it of him. He isn’t keen. But I don’t give him much of a choice.
We are at a family party and I’ve taken my camera. I insist everyone has their photo taken in their costumes individually. I suggest Jake has his first to encourage the others.
I want to take a picture of a dead bird. Jake picks it up for me. Like a younger brother should.
Jake, always unwillingly willing to help me out.
